The Spirit Speaks: 6 May VMIAA Annual Members Meeting Your Opportunity to Vote and Be Heard

Lexington, VA

Announcing the Spring 2023 All-Members VMIAA meeting on Post (Moody Hall): 0800

on Saturday 6 May. On the agenda is the vote for directors with nominees presented in a slate that was vetted by the Alumni Association Nominating Committee. These open seats include regional directors for Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, and the Carolinas. Members must be present, to vote and may only vote for nominees presented by the VMIAA.


On Saturday 5/6, should the members present not approve the list of nominees,

according to VMIAA by-laws, the incumbent directors will continue to serve until

successors are elected. There will be no write-in nominees. For the broader alumni

base: this is your sole venue to actively engage with your alumni organization. All are

encouraged to attend in-person.


An informal gathering of alumni will be held on Friday evening May 5th. Time and

Founded in 2021, the Spirit of VMI PAC is a registered Virginia Political Action Committee whose purpose is to restore VMI’s reputation as an elite leadership institution.
