The Spirit of VMI PAC was founded in March of 2021 to stand as a sentinel for VMI as it may be affected by Virginia politics, legislators and legislation. The SoVP widely promotes the recognition that:

  • VMI is a proud institution serving the Commonwealth and the Nation with proven distinction.

  • VMI reliably and consistently graduates defenders of America’s free-enterprise system.

  • VMI men and women embrace the citizen-soldier concept, standing with dignity and honor for what is good and right.

  • VMI is fair, attracting and embracing increasingly high percentages of under-represented constituencies in its cadet corps.

  • VMI offers access to an alumni network and opportunities not found in any other educational institution.
