Chairman's Comments

Welcome to The Sentinel, the periodical of the Spirit of VMI PAC. Thank you for your interest. We are designing The Sentinel as a news, opinion, humor and politics multi-media outlet. The current plan is to publish The Sentinel quarterly.

In this first issue, we will talk about:

  • VMI, history and DEI in a first-rate OpEd piece that you will find interesting

  • PAC activities and successes in 2021 and 2022: the road we have traveled

  • The necessary and strategic shift in goals and direction for 2023: where we are going

  • The Virginia special elections of Kevin Adams (Va Sen) and Ellen Campbell (Va House)

  • We will provide a video link to candidate interviews

  • Our support for the 1st Amendment

  • Our stand against the ironic racism and bigotry of the hypocrite

  • Humor and satire: the hard left turn at VMI provides a good bit to lampoon, and the members of the Spirit of VMI PAC are nothing, if not clever, rye and witty

  • Even in these days, we need to laugh

  • And more

We hope you enjoy this publication. Our team has enjoyed putting it together and we look forward to your feedback and ideas for future content.

As we gear up for a major effort supporting the huge effort for the 2023 Virginia elections (both Senate and House), we need to keep our eye on the ball and continue to remember and to remind:

VMI IS GOOD!

Rah Va Mil and Semper Fidelis,

Matt Daniel
